began publication independently in 1967. Frequency of issues has varied over the last 50 years, ranging from monthly to the current occasional schedule.
Effective September 22, 2017, Minas Tirith Evening-Star: Journal of the American Tolkien Society has become an online magazine, on this website. We will no longer issue a hardcopy edition. The magazine will be available to all comers on this site, without payment of dues or subscription, and without password.
A variety of back issues are available for purchase.
